Amateur Cartography seems to be the hipster trend du jour. There seems to be a renaissance in Psychogeography and Cartography-as-Art. I am just as guilty as the next person for buying into this – I have made the maps on this site look like a Mondrian painting. Here you go, here is a map of where I am based –

Piet Mondrian was a Dutch painter and theoretician who is regarded as one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. I love his work and I am completely enamoured with how ground-breaking it must have been for the time.

But, how did I do it? Well, I went to Google Maps Colorizr and filled in the necessary hex values. It was fairly simple to implement. If you want a map similar to this then please get in contact with me. I can be reached at [email protected].
