I was contacted by Jem about building a website for her startup, Indieworx Collective – the brief was to build a site and design the logo. The logo was concluded in April of this year and we have been working on the site since.
Indieworx Collective is here to bring together the Harrogate business community. They are a coworking community that encourages professional growth and success, networking, idea sharing, and talent development, while serving as a resource to members and beyond. They bring together a range of creative, technical, academic, for profit and non-profit businesses, creating new possibilities for opportunities in the local area.
Indieworx Collective operate a series of innovation programmes, bringing together large corporates and public sector bodies with problem solving SMES, creating an ecosystem where businesses and public bodies work together to solve local and national problems.
It was a real privilege to build the site.
Indieworx Collective Logo
Working closely with my client, I went through a process of designs using existing social media channels to pool resources. We set up a Pinterest Board for the prototypes of the logo and worked from there.
Jem was quite keen on the idea of “separates making a whole” so the clustered nuclei logo was actioned. We then narrowed down the brush font for the text and went with a geometric sans serif font for the “Work” aspect of the logo.
