My Shop: Find Me On Etsy!
I thought it was about time I opened a shop to allow you to purchase a high quality print that I had designed. It is a way of supplementing my income and it is a way to keep me on my toes, up to date with trends and topics current in the field. It should prove a lot of fun.
The shop is an Etsy store. I thought about making a wordpress build but then I would be competing with giants like Etsy. I reckon that as everyone on Etsy is looking for the type of thing I am selling ten there should be a greater uptake. It could prove a bit pricey for what I am selling, but it will all come out in the wash – see, Etsy charge to host.
I will be using my Riso press to make designs and prints for people. It will be an incentive to get out of the office and will hopefully prove worth its while.
It should prove a good way to play again with Design and not let it stagnate and become “work.” It will keep me fresh and keep me relevant – I will be looking for inspiration and will be able to pop out of the office when I am working to go to the post office. It’ll be fun.
