A visual designer for agencies.
A lot of agency projects get most of the way there and then stall on the visual side. The build works. The content is solid. But the type sizes clash, the grid does not line up, or the colours are fighting each other instead of working together. That is the gap I fill. I offer visual design support to small agencies, either as an ongoing retainer or as one-off help when a project needs it.
What I cover
I studied visual design with the Interaction Design Foundation and passed the assessment with 93%. The course covered typography, colour theory, visual principles and elements, and grid systems. That is the toolkit I bring to your projects.
In practice, this might mean:
- Reviewing a client's design before it goes live and flagging what is not working
- Building a visual identity from scratch for one of your client projects, including colour palette, type choices and grid
- Acting as a second pair of eyes mid project, when something feels off but nobody can say why
- Fixing the small things that quietly undermine good work, like inconsistent spacing, clashing fonts or a colour palette that has grown out of control
How we work together
Some agencies want this on tap. Others need help with one project and nothing more. I offer both.
Retainer. £575 a month, minimum six month contract. This gives you ongoing access for reviews, builds and second opinions across your client work. We agree the exact scope on a call, based on how much support you need.
Ad hoc. £275 a day for stand-alone jobs. No contract. Useful if you just need one project sorted.
